Current back massage devices are one size fits all, however all individuals are unique. Our product allows user's to personalize their device settings to get the best massage and recovery possible.
Cheap, Effective, & Comfortable
By researching current and past back recovery technologies PalmarTech has pinpointed the pros and cons of each, allowing us to cut costs with unnecessary features and creating the most effective recovery device we can.
Innovation
PalmerTech's main goal is to create a new and innovative recovery device unlike any other. By pairing both air compression and a customizable massage system, the device will perform an improved deep tissue massage becoming a more effective product.
PROTOTYPE INFORMATION
ABOUT
PalmarTech is a Stevens Institute of Technology interdisciplinary senior design group. Our project at hand is to create a cutting edge and innovative back muscle recovery device. As a collective group, we consist of both Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering students.

Through the course of 2 semesters, PalmarTech will research, design, test, and build the ALLEVIATE1 a final prototype of our back muscle recovery device. Our main goal is to create the most reliable and effective back massage recovery device, and be able market it at an economically feasible price for the average American worker.
